Caution when trailering

I hauled my 1500 about 20 miles this week.
I discovered that the web straps I used on one end were totally worn through and severed.
I had used the ring underneath and came out on the grease drain end and then tied in a v to 2 floor rings.
The angle was such that the straps fell over the sheet metal part of the cart. This caused the abrasion that quickly cut the strap.
I plan to get a small chain to run out past the cart to prevent this in the future.
