I'm strongly considering pulling the trigger on a ys640. I was really just looking for a smoker, but the direct grilling is interesting and looks pretty nice.

One of the reasons I really like the heat diffuser is it catches most of the drippings. Foil it and easy to keep the grill nice and clean.
Are there any strategies for easy cleanup with direct grilling?

thanks

Direct grilling is a flaming hot furnace, flames come out of the opening, You'll only be searing something. So there wont be too much of a mess. I fold my foil back to the door opening and let the flame begin!
