Hello All,

As a challenge someone said I couldn't make a pie on a smoker. Well they don't know the YS640! So I tried it this evening and I am here to report it tastes good! Well as good as a frozen Sara Lee pie can taste.

Here is an image after it came off after about an hour.

Wife's plate, she doesn't like crust...

My 4 year old daughter ate some of hers, and all of her ice cream...

I can say if you didn't tell someone it was cooked on a smoker you'd NEVER be able to tell it has a slight smoky flavor. Since I knew I cooked on the smoker I had to pay attention to the crust just to perceive it. Sweetness of filling made it very hard to detect.

I say apple pie on the smoker is a GO!
