I purchased the YS640 competition. I live in The Bay area (Northern California) and when my Yoder YS640 Comp arrives sometime in May I would like to start entering some competition's or some friendly cookouts. If anyone is from the Bay area and knows of any events to participate in please let me know, I appreciate any input. Thanks

I think the best place to look for contests is at KCBS.us. KCBS supplies the judges for a lot of Midwest contests

I'd say Facebook with some searches and the good ol' internets. The info is out there. Call some BBQ places. Tons of info with little work.
