I would suggest that you try the pellets and decide. The pellets here in the US are normally 6-6.5 MM at the largest.

Is it you want to use these or are struggling to find other pellets??

What brand are they??

I use Lumberjack and Cookshack.. both work great.

They are made in the uk by a company called ECOWOOD I've used lumberjack but supply here in uk in not allway guarantee so the 8 mm pellets might be worth a try just ordered one bag to try

The ones by ECO WOOD are either Fuel,Bedding or Litter pellets.... NOT food grade...
There's a few reliable food grade pellet suppliers here in the UK, i know the price of the ones you describe are very cheap but is it worth it when we've paid best part of £3000 to buy the smoker in the first place???

Hmmmmmm... Apple, small bags of cherry.... and Walnut which they describe as "can leave a bitter taste on food".

I think i'll stick to Lumberjack and Cookshack/Fast eddie.

Useful for chunks though.
