Shiny! Did they change paint or did you oil the outside of the pit or something?

The shine is from the seasoning inside and out. Its a great smoker, I look forward to many years of eating enjoyment from it!!

I adjusted mine on Microsoft paint. It took a few times to get it right

I've got apple products...so I'll have to see what they have. How come is it...some of these sites don't have this issue?

You guys have got some really nice smokers! Just bought a new Cheyenne today, first smoker I have ever owned. I can't wait to get the seasoning process started tomorrow and then get SMOKE'N!

Wish me luck!

The Wichita itself is pretty easily outdone by some of the big rigs on this page, but I'm guessing there aren't many who have gotten the fire lit to start smoking when it's -17 F. Couldn't do that on my old char-griller!

First smoke for me. It was nice this morning, snowing nicely, but then the wind picked up. Still was A LOT of fun though! Temps outside where anywhere from -12'C to -20'C. You "F" boys will have to do the math on that one - pretty chilly I'd say for some of you Southern folks!
