Hello folks,
I just got my first Yoder, a Cheyenne, and while I do love the smoker, it is extremely short. I did read the specs but until that thing shows up, it was hard for me to picture the height. I am 6’1” and even after getting it up on some bricks, it is a beating to work on. It is also a little bit of a safety hazard because the firebox is right at toddler height. Even on bricks, the grill grate is at almost full arm extension downward.

Does anyone have any tips on how to raise/extend a smoker height?

Not trying to complain, but after an overnight brisket, all that low bending really caught up to me.

Thanks!
David
