Hi, I would like to remove the damper wheel from the firebox door, and replace it upside down so that the handle to adjust the damper setting is protruding from the lower opening (rather than the higher opening)

I had a quick look, and when viewed from the outside of the firebox the bolt that secures the damper wheel has a smooth surface so wasn't sure how to undo it.

Can you please help me with some advice of which tools and method I should use to do this.

Many thanks!!!!

Remove the nut on the inside of the door with a wrench or adjustable wrench.
