Fire Grate for Yoder Wichita

I find that during normal use of my Wichita that unless I monitor the fire every 20-30 mins I can actually have all of my logs fall apart into bits of coal and fall through the fire grate. This is annoying because I then need to basically build the fire again mid-cook.

It seems like the holes in the fire grate are too big? Ideally the holes would be just big enough that they just allow ash to fall through. Even if I monitor it closely enough that I don't lose my fire, by mid cook I have a large pile of solid burning coal underneath the fire grate.

Are other people seeing this? Any solutions to stop this in terms of alternative Yoder fire grates with smaller holes or anything else?
