So I just recently bought a probe port for my Durango. Has anyone had any luck with installing one of these? If so where did you place it?

Hello Herb,

I just purchased a probe port as well, but the instructions you posted a link for does not show the Durango model. The smoke stack end on the Durango is the vertical shelf cavity with no flat surfaces.... Therefore, where do you guys recommend installing the probe ports??

Thanks...

I took some pictures for you of a wood pit with probe ports installed left of the main horizontal cooking chamber door.
